1. Stayezo and your accommodation
Stayezo helps Canadian travellers arrange hotel stays worldwide and collects the booking payment shown at checkout. The hotel provides the accommodation; a distribution supplier may fulfil the reservation. Your booking is subject to these terms, our Cancellation and Refund Policy, and the specific room-rate conditions disclosed before purchase. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over conflicting terms.
The legal name, business address and applicable registration details of the company operating Stayezo will be added before bookings open. Keep a copy of your accepted terms, rate conditions and confirmation.
2. Who can book and guest details
You must have legal capacity to contract and authority to book for everyone in your party. Enter accurate contact details, guest names, dates, room counts and children's ages at check-in. The lead guest must meet the property's minimum check-in age, which can differ from the age required to make a booking.
Check occupancy limits, bedding and meal inclusions for your exact room. Requests such as connecting rooms, an early arrival or a particular view are requests until expressly confirmed. Contact us before paying if an accessibility feature is essential to your stay.
3. CAD prices, taxes and property charges
Amounts payable to Stayezo are displayed in Canadian dollars. Checkout must distinguish the room subtotal, discounts, taxes and fees, the total payable to Stayezo, and any known charges payable at the property. Review whether the price covers each night, each room or your complete stay.
Property deposits, local taxes, parking, resort charges or optional extras may be payable separately where disclosed. Their currency and payment arrangements may differ from your Stayezo payment. Your financial institution may apply its own conversion or cross-border charges. Review the taxes and fees shown in your final booking total.
4. Payment options
Credit cards
Available card networks are shown at checkout. The cardholder must authorize the transaction. Payment verification or an authorization hold may be required; neither confirms a hotel room. A property may still require an accepted card and identification for its own incidental deposit.
The saving shown at checkout is calculated as 1% of the room subtotal before taxes and fees, rounded up to the next whole Canadian dollar and capped at that subtotal. It is a price reduction, not a cash reward.
The 15-minute review window is a service target, not a guarantee of bank settlement, a room hold or supplier confirmation. A timer ending does not confirm or cancel a booking. If you have sent funds and the booking remains pending, contact us before sending again. We manually verify receipt and supplier acceptance before emailing the confirmation and voucher.
Affirm
Where available, financing is subject to Affirm's eligibility checks, approval and agreement. Review the payment schedule, interest and total cost presented by Affirm before accepting. Financing approval does not itself confirm accommodation. Refunds for Affirm purchases are handled through Affirm as described in our refund policy.
5. When a reservation is confirmed
Search prices and availability are checked again before a reservation is completed. Your stay is confirmed only when Stayezo issues a confirmed booking status with the hotel, dates, room and supplier confirmation details. A submitted request, bank transfer or payment receipt alone is not a confirmed reservation.
Check your confirmation promptly and report discrepancies. If the room cannot be confirmed, we will explain the available options. We will not substitute a different hotel or charge a higher price without your agreement. If no replacement is accepted, money collected for the unconfirmed booking will be returned and any authorization release requested.
6. Arrival and your stay
Bring the required identification and booking voucher. Follow the property's check-in, deposit, occupancy and house rules. Advise Stayezo and the property if you will arrive late, especially after the first night. A missed arrival may affect the remaining nights under the selected rate's rules.
You are responsible for travel documents and destination entry requirements. Report accommodation problems to the property and Stayezo promptly so there is an opportunity to resolve them. Keep relevant receipts and correspondence.
7. Changes, cancellations and disruptions
See our Cancellation and Refund Policy for requests, deadlines, penalties and payment-specific refunds. A general hotel description does not override the cancellation rules of your selected rate. If the supplier changes or cancels your stay, we will communicate the options and help resolve the booking, subject to your legal rights.
8. Stayezo points and discounts
The member programme earns points worth 2% of the eligible room amount after discounts and redeemed points, excluding taxes and fees. One point has a redemption value of CA$0.01. Redemption is limited to your available balance and 6% of the room subtotal per booking. Points are not cash.
9. Your rights and resolving concerns
These terms do not waive statutory cancellation, refund, payment-dispute or other rights that cannot legally be excluded. Stayezo remains responsible for its own obligations; the hotel's role does not remove those responsibilities. Contact us with your booking reference and the resolution you seek. Keep records of the issue and our response.
